Install Scoop POS and make your first sale
Follow the steps below. Each one has a video you can watch right here.

Install the app
Download Scoop POS for the device you'll sell on, then run the installer.
- Windows: download the installer from the Download page and open it
- Android: download the APK, then allow installs from this source if asked
- Open Scoop POS once the install finishes

Sign in and create your admin account
Create your shop account with your email. You're set up as the shop's Admin automatically and your 30-day free trial starts, no card needed.
- Choose Sign up and enter your email
- Set your password and confirm your details
- You land on the Home screen as Admin

Add your products
Enter what you sell so cashiers can ring it up and stock can be tracked.
- Open Inventory and choose Add product
- Enter the name, category, price and starting stock
- Save, and the product appears on the Sell screen

Sell a product
Ringing up a sale takes a few taps.
- On Home, tap a product to add it to the cart
- Adjust quantities or apply a discount if needed
- Press Submit to record the sale. Stock updates automatically

Create a customer and make a credit sale
Keep a running balance for regular customers who pay later.
- Add the customer's name and contact details
- Mark the sale as credit and pick that customer
- Mark it as paid when the customer settles up

Create a supplier and make a purchase order
Order stock from your suppliers and receive it straight into inventory.
- Add a supplier with their details
- Raise a purchase order for the products you need
- Receive the order when it arrives to update stock

Create staff
Give each cashier their own 4-digit PIN and only the actions they need.
- Open Staff & Access and add an operator
- Set a 4-digit PIN for them
- Choose what they can do: sale, credit, receiving stock, or fixing counts
